TRAFIKVERKET HISINGS BACKA

In 2022, Trafikverket once again entrusted me with a commission to adorn one of their buildings in Hisings Backa with a permanent mural. Situated in the heart of an industrial district in Gothenburg, the building presented a unique canvas brimming with creative potential.

Drawing inspiration from the surrounding natural beauty of Sweden, I embarked on a transformative journey to infuse the industrial landscape with vibrant hues and lively imagery. Over the course of meticulous planning and execution, I adorned three of the building's four walls with nature landscape, breathing life into the urban environment.

This immersive mural, adorned with iconic native Swedish animals such as the moose, deers, foxes, and hares, serves as a testament to the enduring harmony between nature and industry. Today, it stands amidst the gray monotony of the industrial landscape, captivating passersby and uplifting the spirits of employees alike.
