Worlds Largest Dala Horse

In the summer of 2025, I decided to take a monumental painting challenge of painting a 45 meter high Dala Horse. The following images show the intense project of creating a massive horse alone, in a lift, 45 meters up in the air. From a sketch on paper (size A4) - to sketching that design on a wall with outlines - to painting a horses eye the size of an apartment window - to finally standing back and seeing The Blue Giant.

At 45 meters high, it is by far, the largest horse painting I ever made. It can be seen from the highway in Gothenburg and the train.

The horse is in the city of Partille in Sweden.
