FEI EUROPEAN HORSE CHAMPIONSHIP

\In the early months of 2017, I received a prestigious invitation from Gothenburg&Co. to hand-paint 10 life-sized horse sculptures. Each sculpture served as a captivating canvas, adorned with artistry spanning diverse themes, from the rugged beauty of Swedish landscapes to delicate floral motifs, culminating in my signature rendition of the iconic Dala Horse. These creations were conceived to promote the FEI European Championship in Gothenburg, strategically placed throughout the city's prominent locales, including the Centralstation, Nordstan, Stema Ship Pier, Arkaden, Tourist Office, and beyond.

With meticulous care and boundless creativity, I meticulously painted each sculpture within the confines of my studio, drawing inspiration from Gothenburg's heritage intertwined with the timeless allure of equine elegance. The resounding success of these sculptures was underscored by their prestigious unveiling at the Gothenburg Museum during the summer of 2017, followed by a public preview at Tradgarden during the Kulturkallas festivities.

The project's reach expanded further as I was graciously invited by Ullevi to embellish their venue with three magnificent murals during the FEI Championship. Nestled within the VIP entrance, these murals served as a splendid backdrop for horse professionals, dignitaries, and even members of the Royal Family as they graced the event with their presence.

Culminating in a truly memorable moment, the pinnacle of this extraordinary journey arrived on the event's closing day, when I had the distinct honor of meeting her Royal Highness Queen Silvia. In a gesture of reverence and admiration, I presented her with an original painting titled “HERO,” depicting a poignant tableau of a young girl gazing up at a resolute Royal Guard astride a noble steed, symbolizing strength, grace, and the enduring spirit of heroism.
